1. What is the Montessori at Home Program?

The Montessori at Home Program is a home-based curriculum designed to help families homeschool their children the Montessori way. It is best for children who are in their primary years (3 to 6).

2. What is included in the program?

Each month, families receive an individualized homeschooling guide where activities and presentations for the month are detailed. Materials to print, guide to DIY versions, and curated video lessons are included as needed.

3. How do I get the next month's program?

As your child progresses in the program, the homeschooling guides become more and more individualized. Thus, families need to renew their subscription around the second or third week of their current guide. Note that a maximum of 10 working days, from date of payment, is needed to prepare the next one.

4. Who is in charge of evaluating my child's progress?

Evaluation in a Montessori setting is based on observation. As you are your children's guide (teacher) in this program, you will also be the one responsible for evaluating their progress.

5. How are the homeschooling guides individualized?

1618 READ Montessori Center is your homeschooling partner. As your partner, we will heavily rely on the observations that you will share with us. These observations may be in writing, through photos and/or videos. The more you share with us, the more individualized your homeschooling guides will be. Remember, we are in this together!

6. Will my child's work be recognized by DepEd?

Yes. I have partnered with a Montessori school to take care of record keeping and DepEd accreditation.

7. When does the school year begin?

Families who decide to homeschool their children with us may decide when to start and end their homeschool calendar. They may choose from the following schedules: June to March, July to April, or August to May.

8. I can just search the web and refer to social media for activities and lessons. Why will I need a homeschooling guide from you?

There is indeed a plethora of free activities and lessons available in the web and social media. What you get from us is a made for you monthly plan which takes out the stress and guess work in planning and gives you more time for teaching!

9. Do I get anything by mail?

No. The monthly homeschooling guides are digital products that may be accessed through Teachable.

10. I have other questions. Where can I send them?
